Green Mountain Grain, LC is located in Sage Valley Utah, which is ideally situated for organic production, as the three farms located in this valley are all certified organic. Surrounding the three farms is native mountain range ground. This provides an excellent barrier from contamination of weeds and chemicals from conventional farming practices.
In addition, Green Mountain Grain, LC produces exclusively organic products. All equipment necessary for production, on-farm transportation, and storage is owned by Green Mountain Grain, LC, and used exclusively for organic products, thus eliminating any possible crop mingling.
Green Mountain Grain, LC is a family owned business, with the third and fourth generation farming at the current location. As such, Green Mountain Grain, LC is committed to proper land stewardship in order to maintain the property for future generations. Green Mountain Grain, LC is also committed to producing high quality products for its end users. Each year, 1,865 acres are cultivated, half of which is available for contract per consumer.
